How to play Wish Village
When the treasure hunts start, how to find the chests, what the sticker book unlocks and how to learn every skill. New here? Start with what the village is.
Treasure hunt times
Six hunts a day, one every four hours, 15 minutes each. They start at the same moment all over the world, so the whole village hunts together.

Read the clue
When a hunt starts, a card at the top of the screen names a place in the village (the big tree, the frozen pond, the bonfire, a house or a snowman) and which side of it to look.

Follow the badge
The badge goes from ❄️ Cold to 🌤️ Warmer and 🔥 Hot as you get closer, and its ping quickens. After a few minutes a ring on the map closes in on the chest, so nobody stays stuck.

Dig where the snow sparkles
A chest is buried, so nothing shows from afar. When the badge says ✨ Right here!, the snow glints: tap ⛏️ Dig.

The golden chest comes last
It hides farther out, among the pines. Its clue appears once you have opened the other five chests, or seven minutes into the hunt.
Nobody can take your chest. The chests are in the same spots for everyone, and each player opens each one once. When someone digs a chest up, it vanishes from the village for 10 seconds, then comes back for the next player.
🎁 The chest of the day
Missed a hunt? One more chest is hidden every day and can be found at any time. It is the same for everyone and moves to a new spot at midnight UTC.
The sticker book
Every chest holds one sticker. There are 24, in four rows of six, and each full row unlocks something for your chibi to wear.

The last two rows are rare: they come out of ordinary chests now and then, and mostly out of the golden chest. A sticker you already have adds to its count (×2, ×3…). Open the 🗝️ treasure book in the game to see which ones you still need.
How to learn every skill

Rather stay out of the snowball fight? Turn on “Don't get hit by skills” in the menu: you still see skills fly, but they don't land on you.
Making your chibi
👦 Boy or 👧 Girl
Pick one at the top of the chibi maker. A girl gets curled lashes and a girl's hairstyle, a boy a boy's, and every other piece stays yours to choose. Only the look is saved, never a gender.
🎲 Random
The dice makes a random chibi of the kind you picked. Roll until one makes you smile, then change any piece you like.
👑 Wear your rewards
The sparkle sweater, the star headband, the halo and the crown appear in the maker once their row of the sticker book is full. Until then they show a lock and the row they need.
When night falls
Every hour the village has half an hour of night, from 5 to 35 minutes past the hour, at the same moment everywhere in the world. The windows, lamps and bonfire light up, the moon rises and the stars come out. A hunt starts five minutes before nightfall, so most of it is played under the stars, and fireworks look best then too.
Questions
What time are the treasure hunts?
Six times a day, at 01:00, 05:00, 09:00, 13:00, 17:00 and 21:00 UTC, for 15 minutes each. The times at the top of this page are shown in your own time zone, and the game shows them in the 🗝️ treasure book.
Can someone else take my chest?
No. Each player opens each chest once. When someone digs one up it is gone from the village for 10 seconds and then comes back for the next player, so everyone can find every chest of a hunt.
How do I get the crown?
Fill the last row of the sticker book, “Treasures”. Its stickers are rare and mostly come out of the golden chest, so join a few hunts and open the golden chest each time. Nothing can be bought: the crown only comes from hunting.
Why can't I find the golden chest?
Its clue only appears after you have opened the other five chests, or seven minutes into the hunt. It hides farther out than the others, among the pines at the edge of the map.
I missed the hunt. What now?
Look for the chest of the day: it can be found at any time. Five minutes before the next hunt starts, the village tells everyone who is there.
